The Yerba Mansa Project is a women-run native plant restoration non-profit based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They organize the community to restore Yerba Mansa and other native medicinal plants, offer free classes and events to the community, work with local school classrooms, collect ecological data, and more. Every Fall and Spring they organize restoration field days in the the Middle Rio Grande bosque (riparian ecosystem).
Pristine Seas Papua New Guinea Expedition 2024
Expedition to New Ireland and Manus provinces. Three months spent with coastal communities to get to know a little about their lives and relationship to the marine environments in which they rely on everyday. In close collaboration with each community and our local partners we are documenting aspects of their day-to-day lives that illustrate the unique place-based magic of their way being, their value systems and inherent connection to the natural world around them.
In addition to field film production duties I was responsible for photo documentation of expedition and communications with National Geographic HQ.

Pristine Seas Marshall Islands Expedition 2023
Expedition to Bikar, Bokak and Bikini atolls. In 2025, the Marshall Islands declared a new marine protected area spans 18,500 square miles of water surrounding two remote, northern atolls, called Bikar and Bokak. Smithsonian article on the new marine protected area.
